Volunteers are welcome tomorrow for Saturday Doggy Baths. This is very important part of our weekly routine to keep our dogs clean and healthy, physically and mentally.
For the last two Saturdays, only a few volunteers came in, so we have many dogs waiting to be washed and walked.
Please be a part of our community caring for our shelter dogs. We can only do good as a community, so we need to unite our efforts to help those who depend on us β€οΈ

Elles Arte's Jimena Goya, who painted a mural for us following our Doors 4 Paws campaign, says βI was so inspired by the work of SOS el Arca Animal Rescue that the group agreed we all wanted to do something special to give back to the shelter. This is EVA
Eva was found Thursday in the middle of the street just standing there without knowing where to go. We found out she is blind and deaf ππ’
A lady, Adriana, who cooks delicious lunches for us when we have our sterilization campaigns brought her to us.
She had pus coming out of mouth.
So yesterday she entered surgery and removed a an infected tumor.
She is very old, probably + 12
She got blood tests and does good for her age.
We donβt understand how she arrived where she was found.
We have now 4 blind little dogs π: Troy, Ginger, Bali and Eva.
We need your help for their special care.

Whatβs better than starting the weekend by having fun and helping those in need at the same time?
Our shelter dogs love when volunteers come to bathe them and take them for a walk! They look forward to it all week and so do we! We are so grateful for all the volunteers who join us at the shelter.
Please come tomorrow, Saturday, May 11th from 11:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at SOS El Arca Animal Rescue to bathe and walk our shelter dogs.
