Sharing the dream come true of our furry residents is always inspiring🥳🐾🎉
One of the dogs that left our shelter recently is Billy.
Billy was found roaming around in front of a supermarket. It looked like someone had abandoned him there because he stayed in the same spot for days, as though waiting for his owner to come back for him. That didn’t happen.
He was very skinny and lethargic.
After arriving at the shelter, he was very withdrawn and depressed. Fortunately, after some time, he started to lighten up and his personality started to show.
He’s been wandering with young puppies, so we used to place Billy in a kennel with litters. He’s been like a father figure to them, teaching them the rules of life.
After spending 3 years at our shelter, Billy got his ticket to our sister rescue, All Paws Matter, where after a brief foster period he was adopted! His new parents fell in love with him immediately! His new dad is a retired k9 police officer who can definitely teach Billy new tricks and commands! Enjoy your new life, Billy, well deserved❤️❤️❤️

The newly rescued dogs, Luna and Sombra, successfully undergone surgeries and are recovering well!
Here’s Luna, happily wagging her tail! We are always amazed how resilient dogs are! Her condition was urgent — vaginal prolapse blocking her urethra and preventing urination!
Dr. Rodrigo performed the surgery right in time! The doctor also surgically cleaned and closed Sombra’s deep and infected wound!
Thank you, Dr. Rodrigo, for being such a reliable veterinarian and a pillar of our shelter!
Unfortunately, we have received too few donations thus far to cover the costs of both surgeries! We still need to raise 8885🇲🇽= $540🇺🇸= 734🇨🇦 to reach our goal! This amount doesn’t even include their medications, vaccinations, food nor shelter…
