SOS El Arca Animal Rescue:
Since 2011, Sos el Arca Animal Rescue, Playa del Carmen, rescues street dogs and cats who are hurt, diseased and hungry. They receive veterinarian care and sanctuary until we find loving homes. Impoverished communities of Playa benefit from our monthly Spay and Neuter Campaigns to reduce the street animal population.

Our 4 legged residents at the shelter consume PER DAY:
- 2 large bags of dry dog food = $70 usd
- Medicine for our hospital = $100 usd

Thanks to the amazing Sylvie, they flew to Montreal, where Tula, Kai, Benson, Floffy, Dexter, Leo, and Juana are now safely under the loving care of All Paws Matter .
Penny, Honey, Eliza, Flor, and Orlando were picked up by SOS Animal Welfare and are currently on a 7-hour journey to New York, where theyβll soon meet their forever families! πΎβ€οΈ

βAres was found scared and confused, wandering a busy streetβ¦ A kind-hearted person brought him to our partner, SOS El Arca Animal Rescue, where they discovered the reason for his fear: Ares is completely deaf. πΆπ
No one came to claim him, and the shelter environment was overwhelming for a dog who couldnβt hear.
Thatβs when our amazing fosters, Donna and Doreen, stepped in without hesitation. They gave Ares a soft place to land and all the love he had been missing. π‘π
After 6 months in foster care, Ares met his forever family, Lucy and Zoe. They didnβt see his deafness as a flawβif anything, it made them love him even more. πΎπ
Now Ares is living his dream life with his new brother Winston, who took him under his paw. The two are inseparable! ππβπ¦Ί
